QUESTIONS?
What do you buy?
We specialize and have deep interest in the genres listed in top left corner, but also will buy classic rock, rock n roll, soul, international, pop, blues, soundtracks. We do buy CD collections and cassette collections as well. Always interested in vintage shirts, concert posters, vintage magazines, and other memorabilia as well.
What don't you buy?
Fair question.

On top of putting on the Northside Record Fair for 13+ years, we've been buying record collections for 27 years (started when I was 14, hitting yard sales and buying family friend's collections), so have a lot of knowledge and experience buying collections.

Unlike a lot of record stores, we come to you! No need to haul your records in to a store only to get an offer you're not happy with!

I've traveled everywhere from California, to Texas, to Florida, to Sweden, and Japan to look at records, so for the right collection no place is too far.

We pay fairly and are willing to go over all the details of how we got to your offer including values of specific records, what we are paying for them, total value of your collection, etc. We use a spreadsheet to come up with our offers, so it's very easy to share that information with you and ensure that you're getting a fair offer. Bottom line, we want you to be happy and satisfied with what you're getting.
We enjoy what we do, and enjoy meeting and sharing stories with collectors from all over the world.
Why sell to you?
Most records dating back to the 1940's, 1950's, and in to the 60's including easy listening, big band jazz, crooners, musicals, comedy, soundtracks, as well as most classical outside of modern composition / avant garde.
What do you pay?
We pay 50% of what we believe we can sell a record for. This is the industry standard everywhere you go. Willing to pay higher amount for truly rare records.
Is condition important?
100%. The value drops significantly with worsening condition, and we like to be able to sell quality records, so looking for LP's to be void of scratches, seam splitting, staining, mold, and smell. AND, yes, LP's need the covers. 45's are fine withouth them, but it's very important with LP's.
